A Recent Picture Of Bascom School As It Stands Now

In the year 1947, I began attending the first grade at Bascom
School. Bascom is a small town located in the panhandle of
Florida near the intersection point of the Florida, Georgia, &
Alabama borders. As a matter of fact there is a State Park on
the intersection point of the three States where as it is locally
stated, there you can stand with one foot in Florida, another
foot in Georgia and spit into Alabama.
Below, you will find my first grade class picture. my picture is
the 4th one down in the left hand most column. If you look at
the picture above mine, you will find the picture of the Movie
Actress Faye Dunaway. At the time that the picture was made,
Dorothy Faye was in the second grade and I was in the first.

Most of the students on this site have the name of each person
listed on the pertaining picture. I am still actively trying to find
names for the unnamed students. Anyone having knowledge of
